This 2U storage array supports up to 12 SAS or SATA drives and delivers proven stability and out-of-the-box integration with Windows, UNIX/Linux, and Macintosh environments. For virtual servers and database applications, the N2000 supports iSCSI block-level access with Microsoft VSS/VDS integration to simplify management. For data protection, the N2000 has the ability to replicate to one or multiple SnapServers, take snapshots for point-in-time recovery, and perform backups to disk, VTL, or tape.
Built on the award-winning GuardianOS™, the N2000 is simple to deploy and manage. Intuitive wizards guide you through installation and the initial creation of storage volumes while a Web-based management console and a full-featured Command Line Interface (CLI) give you flexibility for ongoing administration. Built on the Overland Storage vision of “effortless data,” the SnapSAN S2000 offers an intuitive, simplified management console and Windows-based guided wizards to make installation and maintenance simple for any level of administrator.
