Refurbished (#2058) 375 MHz POWER3 SMP High Node.

This node consists of one 375 MHz POWER3 SMP High Node. Each node has 4, 8, 12 or 18 CPUs (within 4 processor cards), 1GB to 64 GB of memory (within 4 card slots), an integrated 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, an integrated Ultra SCSI bus, 2 disk storage bays, 5 PCI slots (one 32-bit slot, four 64-bit slots), and 6 expansion I/O unit connections which supports three SP Expansion I/O Unit loops.

This node is supported on model 550 or expansion frame feature 1550 only. And, it is supported only in a switchless or a 16-port SP switch system with SP Switch MX2 Adapter (FC 4023) or with SP Switch2 Adapter (FC 4025).

This node requires AIX 4.3.3 with the 4330-02 Recommended Maintenance package, or later, with IBM Parallel System Support Programs for AIX (PSSP) Version 3.1.1 plus APAR IY11093 (select feature 9431) If the SMP node is attached to an SP Switch, and is configured with greater than 32 GB of memory, AIX APAR IY11868 and PSSP APAR IY11425 are also required.

This node requires AIX 4.3.3 with the 4330-02 Recommended Maintenance package, or later, with PSSP Version 3.2 (select feature 9432). If the SMP node is attached to an SP Switch, and is configured with greater than 32 GB of memory, AIX APAR IY11868 and PSSP APAR IY11426 are also required.
