The SGI Octane and Octane2 workstations have eight sockets (four banks of two) available for memory. Standard memory is either 64MB or 128MB (removable) and upgrade options are available in 64, 128, 256, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB. XS provides a lifetime warranty on all new Octane memory.
