The SGI Onyx 3000 Series of systems CPUs can go up to 512 processors (In a 3800) utilizing C-bricks which can have (4) R12000 400Mhz w/ 8MB SDRAM CPUs or (4) R14000 500MHz w/ 8MB DDR full-speed SDRAM or (4) R14000 600MHz w/ 8MB Secondary Cache. The 3000 series can also utilize CX-bricks to max out at 512CPUs and 1TB of memory with the ability to add 16 Processors and 32GB of memory per CX-brick reducing the overall footprint. The CX-bricks hold R16000 and R16000A PIMMs with 600MHz, 700MHz or 800MHz processors.
