The SGI Origin 300 has 2 full-size 640bit 66MHz 3.3v/universal PCI slots and can accommodate 12 additional PCI slots with external PCI expansion module. PCI options include Gigabit Ethernet (copper & optical), Fibre Channel – optical, ATM OC3 and OC12, LVD/single-ended Ultra 160 SCIS (2 ports), Audio (8-port) serial and Myrinet 2000.
The SGI Origin 350 has 4 PCI-x/PCI slots on two buses (3.3V/universal). – Two available 64-bit 100MHz PCI-X slots on one bus – One available 64-bit 66MHz PCI slot on one bus & - IO9 card included in the fourth slot. The System can be expanded with external MPX Expansion Modules, PCI-X Expansion Modules and PCI Expansion Modules. PCI/PCI-X card Options include ATM OC3 & OC12, HVD differential SCSI, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel and Myrinet 2000. |
