Feb 10 Richard Sims Joins XSi as Network Support Engineer, Network Services
February 11, 2021 (Alpharetta, GA): XSi (XS International) is honored to announce that Richard Sims has joined the company as Network Support Engineer, Network Services. This newest addition to the XSi service delivery team brings L2 and L3 technical expertise across multiple data center (server and data storage) technologies.
As a Senior Network Engineer, Richard Sims joined XSi following a dynamic background at FIS (Fortune 500 company), NWN (Cisco VAR), SMS Systems Maintenance Services & Curvature (3rd Party Maintenance providers), Family Dollar (bought by Dollar Tree) and Retail Business Services. Throughout his networking support career, Richard has attained CCNP-level Cisco expertise, but also brings a remarkable depth of experience for Juniper and F5 Networking hardware, Azure & O365 Administration, as well as intermediate-level Google Cloud experience. Richard, his wife and daughter, live in Concord, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. Admittedly, he is so enamored by networking technologies, his side interests are limited, but he does enjoy travel (e.g. visiting Charleston, his birth city), travelling to destinations with a beach, working on his cars. But, as an individual that loves what he does for a living, Richard is most passionate about Cisco “labbing (GNS3)” as a hobby.
