2. What data is being collected?

Personal data is information about personal or factual circumstances which is or can be associated with you as a natural person and visitor to the websites. This includes, for example, your name, your address, your telephone number, your IP address and your e-mail address.

Non-personal data is such information which is merely aggregated—in other words, summarized, collected and analyzed in larger, non-identifiable units.

Personal data is only collected and stored when you give it to us of your own accord, such as in the course of your visit, your order or other correspondence.

a) While visiting the websites -

You do not have to register to use our websites. Upon each visit to the website, information is automatically sent from your browser to our server and stored temporarily in a so-called "logfile." The following data is captured in the process without your assistance and stored until automatic deletion:

  • The IP address of the requesting computer,

  • The data, time and duration of the access,

  • The name and URL of the retrieved file,

  • The website from which the access occurred,

  • Your computer's operating system and the browser you use.

This data is collected and processed for the purpose of facilitating use of the XSi business portal (establishing a connection), ensuring durable system security and stability, facilitating the technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimizing our website and for internal statistical purposes. The IP address is analyzed only when occasioned by attacks to the XSi network infrastructure and continuously in anonymized form for statistical purposes without the possibility of drawing inferences as to who you are.

b) While registering on the XSi business portal and the XSi AdvancedTAC™ Ticket Portal -

When you register with us on the XSi business portal, we obtain personal data and business contact data from you in some circumstances. Your personal data is transmitted SSL-encrypted over the Internet. The following personal data can be collected:

  • Your name

  • Your e-mail address

  • Your mailing address

  • Your country

  • Your telephone and/or fax number

  • Your login / user ID

  • The password you created

You should always handle your access information confidentially and close the browser window when you have finished the communication with us, especially if you use the computer together with others.

c) While subscribing to our corporate communications -

If you have expressly consented, we use your e-mail address to send you our corporate communications periodically. You will find a link at the end of each corporate communication, which you can use to unsubscribe to the corporate communication at any time. You can also cancel the corporate communication at any time in writing or by e-mail with the responsible body indicated in section 1.

3. For what purpose is the data used?

XSi collects only the information it needs to fulfill your order and/or your request for information or service. Each online form will stipulate when information is required.

The information will only be used to complete a transaction initiated by you and to follow up with you, the customer, to make sure that every step of the purchase/request is satisfactory.
